Any learner riding a powered two wheeler on the road must hold a current CBT certificate and provisional licence.
If you hold a full car licence dated after 1st February 2001
the CBT is still required to validate your moped entitlement.
These courses are designed for novices and are completed on a continual assessment basis.
A minimum of two hours must be spent “ on the road” at the required standard in order to be issued with a CBT certificate (DL196).
Should this not be achieved in one day then additional training is provided at a mutually convenient time at no extra cost (up to two days) .
Whilst a theory test is not required to pass the CBT, it is expected that you have a basic working knowledge of the Highway Code.
Note : We do have a limited supply of helmets ,gloves and waterproofs .
If these are required then please let us know. They are available at no extra cost.
